Why “Shadow Dancer” as a Shamanic Shadow Guide?

Well, because “hiding in the shadows”, most likely when I was sitting and having a picnic with my wife Kathrine, on a picnic table overlooking the Mississippi River outside Dubuque, Iowa, was a “Brown Recluse Spider”. I was unknowingly bitten by that Brown Recluse Spider between the top of my right thigh and bottom of my moon cheek.

This 8-Legged taught me many things about my own “Shadows”, beginning with putting me in the hospital a few days later for 4 full days and continuing to demonstrate the negative self-judgement parts of myself that I want to hide, suppress and deny, especially the unconscious way they can negatively drive/impact my life. And in true shadow form and behavior, I also “project” my debilitating self-judgements upon others! “Shadow Dancer” serves as a constant reminder of the deep “Shadow Work” (a service option within “Private Sessions”) this path requires daily.
